What did you do?
- In the first week the aim was to get more than 8 ½ hours sleep each night, to help the client feel more calm and well rested.
How did it go?
- It took a couple of days for Grace to get used to going to bed earlier and actually falling asleep, but in the second half of the week she was getting up to 9 hours of sleep each night.
How did you feel?
- I felt good, we had great results from this week, and hopefully they will continue throughout the intervention.
How was the client feeling? Client feedback
- At first going to bed that early made me stressed because I felt like I still had so much to do, but once I started planning out times in which it could all be done I felt much better. During the end of the week I was getting about 3 hours more sleep than usual, and was feeling more rested and awake during the day.
- Grace
Was it successful? Why?
- It was successful as the client was getting the recommended amount of sleep and was feeling substantial benefits from this.
What changes need to occur?
- I don’t think many changes need to be made on the sleeping program, however it would be good to start collecting information on what time she is going to sleep and waking up each day, I have also set up a notification system to inform the client of that weeks focus (e.g. sleep, exercise, etc.)
