What did you do?
- This week we focused on physical activity. The aim was to do a minimum of 2 ½ hours of exercise each week, as well as getting a minimum of 8 ½ hours of sleep, which was continued from last week.
How did it go?
- It went really well, this week Grace did 5 ½ hours of exercise, which included both aerobic and anaerobic activities. She also accomplished her sleep goal, getting over 65 hours or around 9 ½ hours of sleep each night.
How did you feel?
- I am feeling great, as the intervention is going just as planned, and this week Grace has smashed it out of the park, more than doubling the exercise goal. We are only 1/3 of the way through the intervention and the client is feeling noticeable differences, which makes me excited to see how this progresses.
How was the client feeling? Client feedback
- I was feeling good this week, combining the extra sleep with exercise. I was definitely feeling a lot more rested and awake. The additional exercise helped me to stay more focused and alert throughout the day.
- Grace
Was it successful? Why?
- This week was successful as both of the goals were reached. It was also very successful in that Grace is seeing results in her everyday life. This has been seen through her increased alertness in classes and in feeling more prepared and calm when facing her weekly knowledge tests required in some classes.
What changes need to occur?
- I don’t think any changes need to made this week, it went well with very good feedback from the client. Last weeks implements of collecting data and giving the client notifications about the weeks activities have been good additions and will be continued.
